These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mingo.page, including the website, editor, wedding pages, RSVP tools, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, using the Service, or publishing a wedding page, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Mingo.page lets you create, edit, publish, and share a wedding page, collect guest replies, and manage related features. The Service is provided as a consumer-facing product for personal wedding use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in method secure, and for all activity under your account. You must use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You use Mingo.page entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service, what content you publish, how you share your page with guests, and any decisions you make based on the Service.
3. Content you submit
You retain ownership of the content you upload or enter into Mingo.page, including text, photos, and guest reply data you collect through your page. You grant Mingo.page a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
You represent that you have the rights needed to use and publish your content, and that your content does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law.
4. Payments and hosting term
You can create and edit a wedding page before paying. Payment is required to publish and keep the page live for guests, according to the pricing shown at checkout. Hosting duration and renewal options are described in the product and related communications.
Unless required by mandatory law, paid fees are non-refundable once the Service has been made available for publishing or hosting.
5. WWF flamingo adoption contribution
For every wedding page sold, Mingo.page sets aside USD 1 for symbolic flamingo adoptions offered by World Wildlife Fund (WWF). According to WWF, symbolic animal adoption donations support its global conservation efforts.
The USD 1 comes from the price you pay to publish your wedding page. It is included in that price and is not an extra charge. Later hosting renewals, and any other optional payments, are not part of this donation.
A wedding page counts as sold when payment to publish it is completed. If that payment is later refunded, the page is not included in the contribution.
We total these contributions for wedding pages sold during each calendar year and use the combined amount to purchase one or more symbolic flamingo adoptions after the year ends. If the combined amount is below the price of WWF's lowest available adoption option, we carry it forward until the balance is sufficient. We do not purchase a separate adoption at the time of each sale.
A symbolic adoption does not give you or Mingo.page ownership of, or rights to, a specific flamingo. Any adoption kit, certificate, or other item supplied by WWF belongs to Mingo.page and is not included with your wedding page purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, scrape it in an abusive way, upload harmful code, or use it to send spam, harass others, or publish unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Mingo.page available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous operation. Features may change, and temporary downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, third-party failures, or unexpected issues.
Mingo.page is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. No liability for operational or software errors
Software can contain bugs. Hosting environments can fail. Networks, browsers, email providers, payment processors, DNS providers, and other third parties can interrupt the Service. Data loss, delayed delivery, incorrect display, login problems, RSVP issues, domain issues, or other defects may occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mingo.page, its founder, operators, and service providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, claim, or inconvenience arising from operational failures, software bugs, outages, maintenance, data loss, delayed or failed emails, incorrect content display, RSVP errors, domain or DNS issues, payment processing issues, security incidents outside our reasonable control, or any other technical or operational problem.
We will not reimburse, compensate, or indemnify any user, guest, or third party for any costs, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from such failures or defects. This includes, without limitation, reprinting invitations, reprinting QR codes, reprinting stationery, venue or vendor costs, travel costs, lost time, lost opportunities, emotional distress, or any consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or punitive damages.
9. Limitation of liability
Except where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to Mingo.page for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or EUR 0 if you have not paid.
Nothing in these Terms requires Mingo.page to pay any compensation, refund beyond what mandatory law may require, or damages for reliance on the Service.
10. Your own backups and contingency planning
You are solely responsible for keeping your own copies of important wedding details, guest information, and any printed materials. Do not rely on Mingo.page as your only record of event information or guest replies. If the Service is unavailable or incorrect, you remain responsible for informing guests through other channels.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Mingo.page and its founder and operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your wedding page, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation creates risk for the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires additional notice or consent.
