Cookie policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This Cookie policy explains how Mingo.page uses cookies and similar technologies on the website, editor, and guest-facing wedding pages.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which the browser can use to remember choices or temporary information.

2. How we use cookies

Mingo.page uses cookies mainly for essential functions: signing in, keeping an editor session open, protecting guest pages with a PIN, and completing checkout. We do not use advertising cookies in the Mingo.page product itself.

On the marketing website, Google Analytics runs only if you choose Accept all. It helps us see which pages people visit. The editor, account, checkout, and guest wedding pages do not load this tag. If you choose Essential only, Google Analytics does not run.

3. Cookies and storage we use

wp_session — essential session cookie for signed-in page owners. It keeps you signed in while you edit, publish, or manage your wedding pages. Typical duration: up to 30 days.

wp_guest_access — essential functional cookie used when a wedding page is protected with a guest PIN. It remembers that a guest has already entered the correct code so they do not have to re-enter it on every visit. Typical duration: up to 30 days.

wp_cookie_consent_v1 — remembers whether you chose essential cookies only or accepted all cookies, so we do not ask again when you move between our website and the editor. Typical duration: 1 year.

wp_checkout_editor_return (session storage) — temporary browser storage used during payment so we can return you to the right editor context after checkout. It is not used for advertising.

Google Analytics — cookies such as _ga set by Google on the marketing website, and only after you accept all cookies. They help us understand visits to the marketing site. Typical duration: up to 2 years. Google's own policy applies to these cookies.

4. Third-party cookies during payment

When you pay to publish or renew hosting, checkout is handled by our payment provider, Polar. Polar may set its own cookies or similar technologies as needed to process payment securely. Those cookies are controlled by Polar under its own policies.

5. Your choices

You can manage cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Service may not work, including sign-in, editor access, guest PIN unlock, or checkout.

We show a cookie banner on our marketing site, editor, and account flows—not on guest-facing wedding pages, where we only use essential cookies as described above. Where the banner appears, you can choose essential cookies only or accept all. Essential cookies are needed for the Service to function.

6. More about personal data

We may update this Cookie policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
